Feast of Divine Mercy with modern depiction of Jesus

Divine Mercy Sunday is the Sunday following Easter Sunday, April 27. Our Together in Christ family of parishes will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday as follows:

St. Mary's will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet before all Sunday Masses. St. Mary's Divine Mercy Service begins at 2:30 PM on Sunday with Adoration, the Chaplet will be prayed at 3:00 PM followed by the Litany to Divine Mercy, and Benediction will close the service at 3:30 PM.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, Bowmansville, will offer Confession 1:00 - 3:00 PM. At 3 PM there will be Benediction and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed. Mass will be celebrated at 3:15 PM

St. Teresa of Avila Church will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet after 9 AM Mass and serve coffee and donuts after. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered 1:30 - 2:30 PM and the Chaplet will be prayed again at 3 PM.


Our Lady of Peace will have Adoration at 2:00 PM, Confession 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Divine Mercy prayers, Chaplet, and Rosary at 3:00 PM, and Benediction at 4:00 PM.

Jesus said to St. Faustina, “I desire that the Feast of Mercy…be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter….The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion(in a state of grace on this day) shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. ” (Diary, 699)
